On Saturday, January 16th at 1:00 pm, author Wendy Rosenoff will lead multiple interactive green activities for kids and adults from her book Grow Your Own Tree Hugger. Great for the whole family!
A hands-on book sampler of activities, each one with a sustainable living message to help grow a new green habit. Putting the fun into all things green is the goal. Signed books will be available for purchase and inspiration to continue the experience. The ultimate recycling circle would be to do as many activities as you enjoy from the book ... and pass it on to a teacher to it continues its green inspirational life cycle.
Wendy Rosenoff is an active environmental enthusiast who focuses on showing kids how easy and fun it is to bring green habits into their family lives. Wendy was born in Ontario, Canada and lives with her family in River Edge, NJ. As co-chair of Green Day, an annual event in her town, she has supported the efforts of small green businesses through exposure at this event. As always, there are hikes on free snowshoes, animal encounters, movies and great food offerings.
